Thank you so much to all who have signed up to volunteer for this year's run!  We are so excited to have you help us pull off the greatest celebration ever!!

 

Here is some important information for all volunteers: 

• We recommend entering Tanglewood Park via the Canoe Access Road entrance (see Map).  This is a dirt road past the main entrance to Tanglewood, on the left, just before the bridge that crosses over the Yadkin River.  You can park in the parking area here and follow the dirt road to the fields near the Concert Shell.

• Please report to the large white tent in the center of the Warriors Expo at your appointed time (see below)

• You will be met by Robin Atkinson, GYN Nurse Navigator, who will provide you with a volunteer t-shirt, helpful information on your volunteer duties and direct you to your stations.

• If you are a Parking Volunteer - we recommend wearing water proof shoes, as the fields may be wet due to all of the morning moisture.  (We will provide safety vests to wear over volunteer t-shirts and flashlights to help direct traffic!)

• If you are working on the race course (Course guides and cheerers/Water Station), you will be shuttled to your station on the race course when you arrive.  Please feel free to bring teal banners, streamers, noise makers, etc to help cheer on and encourage the runners.

• After you have finished your volunteer duties - please feel free to hang out and enjoy the festivities!  All are welcome!​
